This weekend title is about how the EU is dwarfing itself. Unimaginative, overwhelmed, left behind: Europe is losing more and more political and economic importance in the world. We show why this is the case - and how it can perhaps be changed. The story was written by a team of Brussels correspondents and Berlin colleagues, led by office manager Moritz Koch. The cover is by Kiel-based illustrator Samson Goetze, who has already created works for the Karl May Festival. It is his first appearance in the Handelsblatt collection.
