This weekend's title is about Sam Altman's adventurous plans for a world currency. The ChatGPT founder plans his project to be a mix of identity proof, cryptocurrency and basic income. At its heart: an iris scanner - and many unanswered questions about data protection. The cover story, including an interview with Altman, was written by Stephan Scheuer, correspondent in Silicon Valley. The cover is by the tried-and-true duo Mona Eing & Michael Meissner, who have already designed 13 other covers in the collection, most recently "Climate Trap".
